Easter Goodies!

Can you believe Easter will be here before we know it? Here's a cute litte bunny I CASE'd from Jill Olsen, one of my Stampin' Up! upline. Isn't he adorable! I filled them with Easter Grass and candy and sold them at the Craft Fair last weekend for $4.  I will have them again this weekend at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Taylorville on Sat. from 9-4. Come on out and join us!!!

Now for #9 of the Top 10 Things you should never say to a SAHM.....
#9 "That Explains Why Your Son is So Clingy!"
Well, that wouldn't explain any of my kids, so, that to me is kind of a dud. Oh well, stay tuned tomorrow, it's my favorite saying that I use all the time!!!

It's gonna be a super great day! Get outside and enjoy it! I think my weeds are calling me, then my hammock with a good book!!!

Have an awesome day!

I'm still Alive!

Yes, I am still alive! I have been buried under an avalanche of craft fair projects! Stay tuned for pictures!  I had to post this article that made me laugh out loud!!! 10 Things You should never say to a Stay At Home Mom.
Today, you get #10........

#10. Weird...I assumed your house would be superclean!
Really?!?!?!!?  Why clean when I can stamp and sew?? Seriously! This list is hilarious! It is in the March 2011 issue of Redbook, from Candy Kirby of thelaughingstork.com

Hmmm..my picture came out at the top...sometimes I don't know what in the world I am doing! Oh well, I am a mom...we lose brain cells when we get married, and more with each kid! I am convinced of that!!
I just wanted to post a photo today for you and tomorrow, I'll have top 10 Things #9. Don't worry working moms, your list is next!  One of the SAHM top 10's is one I joke about all the time! It's #8! I bet you can't wait to see what it is!

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful April day!!! If not, turn your frown upside down and make it a great day. (not sure where that corny little ditty came from...I am in a strange mood today I guess! Too much coffee!)

Wish Big!!

What's your wish? Is it your birthday? Happy Birthday to my cousin Kyle! Anniversary? Happy Anniversary to my cousin Michelle and her hubby Jason as well as to my dear friend Connie and Big Jim. (I miss you guys!) Today, my wishes go out to you, but also for healing and peace in Japan.

I can't believe it's been over a week since I've posted.  The past week just flew by! I keep telling myself if I had only stuck to my New Year's Resolution, I'd be atleast 15 pounds lighter by now...oh well, I will start up the running again today! My wish is also that my kids stay healthy! I don't know about you, but we've had more than our share of sickness in the Duenas' household this year!

I am off to get my runnin' shoes on and set off into the streets of Stonington.  I really hope the IPod is charged. I am going to need the music blarin' today!  Then I get some pamper time for myself...Chiropractor and cut and color. I love getting my head washed.  It's about the best 5 min. of bliss I can imagine! I know, crazy!

Don't forget, there are only about 8 more days to take advantage of the great deals for Sell-a-bration. Head on over to my website here to check out the catalog and order online today!

Super Sunday!

What a weekend! We had an awesome day yesterday stamping and scrappin' all day! I did not leave the Hall for over 12 hours. I heard it was really nice yesterday! We had so much fun and I met so many awesome people! They kept making fun of me for "working" the room! You guys know how friendly and social I am!  I didn't scrapbook a single page, and didn't touch a single ink pad or stamp set! I did show how to make a flip album as well as a covered notebook.  I will show you the flip album tomorrow....so stayed tuned!

This was one of the make and takes we did! I brought stuff to make for an upcoming craft fair. I never in a million years though we would make covered notebooks at a scrapbooking retreat! Goes to show how much I know! LOL  Here's a close up of the flowers:

I am soooo addicted to making these things! I love them! I used both scallop circle punches, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla cardstock as well as the Vintage Brads.  I am so in love with the Vintage Brads!

Don't forget, there are only 16 more days to take advantage of Sell-a-bration specials! The paper on the Daffodil Delight notebook is Ice Cream Parlor, which you can get for FREE when you order $50 or more in Stampin' Up! merchandise! Click here to go to my Stampin' Up! website and order today!

Enjoy the short, one hour less!, day and the freezing cold temperatures of Central IL! I am going to stay inside and stamp all day!

See you tomorrow!

Dream Big!

Today's card seems fitting. I have the awesome opportunity to follow one of my lifelong dreams of opening my own little artsy shop.  It is super exciting and super scary at the same time. You start to doubt yourself, worry about money, and of course, making it work with my awesome friend! I don't want to ruin a friendship over a failed business...see, my doubt is kicking in again!  The hubby says go for it and my heart tells me go for it, but the little devil on my shoulder says, no, don't, you can lose money, you will fail, etc....Shut up little devil!!!  We are going for it...with confidence!!!!

Today's card uses the stamp set, Word Play, from the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Catalog and Idea Book.  I love this set, full of great saying!  I also used the Celebrations Designer Paper, Real Red and Pacific Point Cardstock. I also used the Scallop Border Punch, which I seriously, can not live without!

Don't forget, Sell-a-brations ends soon!  Check out my website to order today! For every $50 you spend, you get a FREE SAB stamp set or accessory!  Gotta love FREE!!

Going confidentally in the direction of MY dreams!
